Pondicherry.......

Started with the train journey from bengalooru to puducherry, the train was almost empty and it belonged to us.The only problem with our compartment was Praveen Kumar whom we thought was 25 but looked 25+10..almost  bald, dark and short...our excitement came to an end when he entered and dejection lasted till he got off cos he played absurd akon tracks at 1 a.m...until pooja loudly warned him to switch it off  :P.thanks again pooja. And one more disaster was the guy who got in after Praveen Kumar,Oh God if akon was it this guy snored like crazy, for a sec i thought it was bunny but it was another uncle...!!!!

Reached pondi and walked to find New Ajantha Hotel as suggested by our very own travel guru for pondi Neethu.V....walked for 5 mins and then took a rick, weather was amazing, the only city after blore for its awesome weather...first view of the beach road..Wow!!....Heaven on Earth!!...checked into the room at Mother View next to ajantha, terrace room wid an amazing view of the light house and the beach.

breakfast at adyar anand bhavan which was just okay...lunch at appachi which was an awesome treat...everythin was includin its antique ambience which was a typical house from my hometown wid jagli and all...:)

Shoppin it was in pondicherry...clothes,bags ,lanterns,candles...found this shop called Casablanca on nehru street which had an amazing collection for shades, chappals. just loved the collection...one hellava shop for shopping freaks..offcos...it was pondicherry shopping festival...!!!!,,,

Beach Road all decked up for the vintage car collection, from Ford mustang to 1947 Singer,it was a treat for all the car lovers...
Next day it was a neat ride on our hired activas to Auroville....did nothin but walked and shopped loads of candles!!!....
Scent of the candles still lingering in my room, pondi was an amazing place to be at peace...!!

Lost in the streets of Jaipur..

Jaipur, the city of palaces, pink city, call it whatever ,its the place to fall in love with.
If your traveling alone i think its the best place to be.
A city to romance with its beautiful palaces and architecture.

Amer fort-its got lovely sheesh mahals and flamboyant paintings.
Jaipur palace turned museum-kings and queen's left overs.:P
jantar mantar-If your interested in science.I personally feel its just for school kids.
hawa mahal-just an outside view ,it was meant for queens to watch the processions.

oh....shoppers paradise for sure.If you want some real good bandini sarees , dresses and kolapuris its gotta be near the hawa mahal but do bargain heavily.Gem stones and silver items are freaking cheap if your here.
getting lost in the city of jaipur can be really weird but worth it,you can even catch up with a movie here,Raj mandir theater its a beautiful palace again. When i was there it was Dil bole hadippa starring rani mukherjee and shahid kapoor, what a waste movie to watch but it was a delight just being in the palace like theater.well,it was worth the try.
